Conscious Music Collective is a spicy fusion of East, West and Pacifica:
fresh funk delights, tasty grooves and beautiful melodies for a unique aural landscape.

… I’ve written a song in tribute Purple One (There Will Never B). Our first single release, and you can find it on:

In April of this year I went to Paisley Park, Prince’s home and recording complex in Minneapolis for Celebration 2017, the official commemorations for honour the life and legacy of Prince, a year after his death.

I interviewed fellow fans and important Prince collaborators, including Eric Leeds (sax player and horn arranger) and Susan Rogers, his audio engineer.

My stories can be heard on Radio New Zealand, Music 101, broadcast live Sat 1st and 8th July, will be on repeats on Nights with Brian Crump and will be available on podcast

We are available for your festival, corporate event or private gathering.

The current focus is the writing of original material.

Music is vibration that affects us on a cellular level. It is the one true universal language.
Conscious Music Collective is a super-group of experienced musicians playing with the intention to create tangible high-energy or evocative atmosphere as either feature artists or background music for your next festival, corporate event or community gathering.

It is music that aims to uplift, inspire and connect: original material, groove classics, meditative ballads and standards resonant with profound human truths from the great jazz, funk and soul masters of our time.

Multi-genre adept songstress Georgia Duder-Wood, is joined by musical director and guitarist Dixon Nacey, pianist Ben Fernandez and outstanding rhythm section Alex Griffith (bass), Lance Bentley (drums) and Manjit Singh (tabla).

Music is communion. Come share the groove.
